What a shocker. People who worked with this incredibly talented TV and film crossover comedian are reeling after he died in a Chicago hospital early today from complications due to pneumonia. Said Oceans Eleven, Twelve and Thirteen co-star George Clooney through a publicist: "The world just got a little less funny. He will be dearly missed." Bernie Mac was only 50 years old. A publicist says the Emmy and Golden Globe nominated actor suffered from the inflammatory lung disease sarcoidosis but it had gone into remission in 2005. Mac also had memorable co-starring roles in Bad Santa, Guess Who, Mr. 3000, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle and Transformers. But he was best known for his Fox television series The Bernie Mac Show which aired from 2001 to 2006. This past truncated pilot season due to the Hollywood writers strike, he had another Fox TV show offering, Starting Under, from Bruce Gelford and Warner Bros. What a sad day to lose this comedy original.

Oha und so alt war er ja noch garnicht, aber er starb ja leider an den Folgen einer Lugenentzündung.
In Filmen war er immer total lustig drauf ey ... echt schade und traurig sowas!

Hollywood-Star Paul Newman („Die Katze auf dem heißen Blechdach“) hat den
Kampf gegen seinen schweren Lungenkrebs verloren. Gestern starb er im Alter
von 83 Jahren. Das erklärte seine Sprecherin Marni Tomljanovic heute.

Unterdessen legt ein Zeitungsbericht nahe, dass die 45-Jährige nach ihrem Ski-Unfall in Kanada am Montag nicht rechtzeitig behandelt wurde.

Kann das ehrlich gesagt die richtigen treffen?
Ich kann mich kaum an Filme mit ihr erinnert, weiß nur als kleiner Lohan Fan, dass mir Parent Trip sehr gefallen hat (habe ihre Schwester eher mitbekommen)!
Hoffentlich geht es Mann und Kindern schnell wieder gut und sie behalten ihre Frau/Mutter gut im Herzen! |

Schauspieler David Carradine gestorben
Der aus Kung-Fu-Filmen bekannte amerikanische Schauspieler David Carradine
ist gestorben. Der 72-Jährige wurde erhängt in seinem Hotelzimmer in Bangkok
aufgefunden, wo er sich für Dreharbeiten zu seinem jüngsten Film aufhielt. Die
Polizei in Bangkok geht von einem möglichen Selbstmord durch Erhängen aus.
Die Todesumstände würden derzeit untersucht, sagte Carradines Manager Chuck
Binder. In seiner mehr als 40-jährigen Karriere hat Carradine in über 100 Kino-
und Fernsehfilmen mitgespielt.

Ich denke das die Familie eher die Polizei einschalten will, weil die Geschichte, auch noch wahnsinnig unangenehm ist! Irgendwie um von der Geschichte abzulenken!

Nielsen appeared in over 100 films, including Forbidden Planet and The Poseidon Adventure, as well as over 1,500 TV programs during his career.
