Wii-Nachfolger vermutlich auf der E3

Einem Bericht des US-amerikanischen Videospielemagazins Game Informer
zufolge wird Nintendo im Rahmen der im Juni stattfindenden E3 einen Nachfolger
der erfolgreichen Spielekonsole Wii präsentieren. Eine Bestätigung seitens des
japanischen Unternehmens gibt es bislang nicht.

Nintendo bestätigt Wii-Nachfolger

Im Rahmen der Vorstellung der Jahresbilanz hat Nintendo in einem kurzen State-
ment einen Nachfolger für die erfolgreiche Wii angekündigt. Erscheinen soll die
nächste Generation im kommenden Jahr, bereits auf der E3 im kommenden Juni
soll das Gerät präsentiert werden.

Nintendo zeigt Wii-Nachfolger „Wii U“

Die neue Konsole hört auf den Namen „Wii U“ und soll im kommenden Jahr auf den
Markt kommen. Wichtigster Bestandteil der „Wii U“ ist der neuartige Controller, der
über einen 6,2 Zoll großen Touchscreen verfügt. Zusammen mit einem Gyrsokop,
einer Kamera und einem Mikrofon sowie klassischen Steuerelementen wie Analog-
Sticks sollen die Spiele gesteuert werden. Der integrierte Bildschirm kann zur An-
zeige von Steuerelementen oder ähnlichem genutzt werden, aber auch die kom-
plette Spieldarstellung kann hierüber erfolgen, falls kein Fernseher zur Verfügung
steht oder dieser anderweitig genutzt wird.
