Iron Man 3
Dieses Mal bekommt es Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) mit einem Gegner zu
tun, dessen Reichweite keine Grenzen zu kennen scheint. Der Mandarin (Ben
Kingsley) zerstört das komplette Leben des berühmten Iron Man. Dieser muss
sich der äußerst schwierigen Aufgabe stellen, seine Welt wieder in Ordnung zu
bringen und jene zu beschützen, die ihn am nächsten stehen. Einmal mehr ist
dafür sein ganzer Mut und all sein Können gefragt. Starks Lage ist allerdings alles
andere als aussichtsreich. Er steht mit dem Rücken zur Wand und muss sich auf
seine ureigensten Stärken zurückbesinnen: seinen Einfallsreichtum sowie seine
guten Instinkte. Schritt für Schritt kämpft er sich vor, doch um dieses Mal zu
gewinnen, muss er sich auch der Frage stellen, die ihn schon lange verfolgt:
Macht ihn erst sein Kampfanzug zum Helden, oder ist er bereits ein Held, der

Ich kann es kaum noch erwarten, dass der dritte Teil rauskommt.
Ich finde die Geschichte sehr gelungen, welche durch Robert Downey Jr. als tollen und talentierten Schauspieler unterstützt wird. |

Auf den dritten Teil von Iron Man freue ich mich sehr! Ich war eigentlich nie Fan von dieser Figur. Doch die Filme sind so gut gemacht, dass ich mich vom Gegenteil habe überzeugen lassen. Vor allem Robert Downey Jr. glänzt in dieser Rolle. Auch in The Avengers spielt er die Figur Robert Stark einfach authentisch  Bin gespannt, wie viel Spannung in diesem Teil stecken wird!

Walt Disney Pictures announced this morning that Marvel Studios' Iron Man 3 began its rollout in 42 international territories representing 79% of the international marketplace. The film has taken in an estimated $195.3 million, surpassing the $185.1 million international opening weekend take of Marvel's The Avengers. The film opens in the U.S. the evening of May 2nd.
While the third installment hasn't opened in Russia, China or Germany yet, here are some international highlights:
- Biggest opening weekend ever in Argentina, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore.
- Biggest opening day ever in Taiwan, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam and Malaysia.
- Biggest Marvel opening weekend in: Australia, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Netherlands, Finland, Hungary, Romania, New Zealand, Argentina, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Philippines and Malaysia.
- #1 film in every market and is the biggest opening weekend of all time in Asia Pacific and Latin America.

Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Jon Favreau and Sir Ben Kingsley, the third installment co-written and directed by Shane Black (the "Lethal Weapon" movies, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) was off to a good start on Friday when it reported $15.6 million from Thursday previews and midnight screenings. Along with the rest of the Friday, it brought in $68.3 million, which was below many other big blockbusters releases, but then by Sunday, it had bounced back to report an opening weekend estimate of $175.3 million, surpassing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 to score the second-highest opening weekend behind The Avengers.
Averaged among the 4,253 locations in which the movie was playing, that's a per-theater average of over $41,000 per location, which is the third-highest ever.
Iron Man 3 continued its international domination as well, essentially doubling its North American opening with another $175.9 million in 54 territories with an international total of $505 million and a global take of $680.1 million in just 12 days of release.
IMAX theaters couldn't get enough seats to fill the demand as they reportedly sold out nearly every show on all 326 IMAX screens nationwide to surpass The Avengers' IMAX opening with $16.5 million, second only to Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises. It added another $13 million internationally on 267 IMAX screens to bring its global IMAX total to $40.2 million.
