Auf dem Pressetag für THE EYE sprach Jessica mit IESB auch über einen möglichen 3. Teil von FANTASTIC FOUR:

IESB: How long until we get Fantastic Four 3?
Jessica Alba: I have no idea. I know the writers strike and the impending actors strike has kind of put a wrench in everything production wise. That film takes a lot of prep, a good six months of prep and about six months to shoot. With the strike, I think, maybe it's put on hold.

IESB: In the Fantastic Four comics your character becomes a mother. Would you like to see that in the film?
JA: Little Franklin? Yeah, I think that would be hilarious. He's so powerful, I think that would be a really interesting dynamic a mother-child dynamic. She's still a superhero but she's super-protective and he's wild, he can do anything and has no sense of what's appropriate, that would be really fun.

Get Franklin in there and Mrs. Fantastic is suddenly in there too. A lot.

And for Chiklis?

“For selfish reasons, I would love to see Puppet Master happen, obviously,” he enthused, imagining the possibilities of a Ben Grimm-centered flick. “For those of you who know what I’m talking about, it would really tie in Alicia’s character and mine. It’s a great story line for the Thing.”

Is it ever. Able to control people using radioactive clay, the Puppet Master is a diabolical villain and occasional nemesis to the Fantastic Four … who just so happens to be the father of Thing’s blind girlfriend, Alicia Masters.

But, either way, Chiklis is holding his breath, telling MTV News that he’s glad for the break from the blue spandex and is in no hurry to return.

“I’m not gonna call the guys like, ‘Hey, what are we doing?’ ” Chiklis said. “I’m kinda moving on and doing other stuff, which is great. [Another ‘Fantastic Four’ movie] is sort of on backburner mode for a while.”

Solange die diesmal nen vernünftigen Drehbuchautor holen und nen vernünftigen Regisseur und Jessica wenigstens wieder annähernd ihr Dark Angel Schauspielniveau einholt!

Ein besseres Drehbuch als im letzten Teil täte dem Film sicherlich gut. Was aber Jessicas schauspielerische Leistung angeht, so fand ich diese damals nicht so auffallend schlecht. Ist schließlich nur 'ne nette Comic-Verfilmung, Popcornkino, da sind grundsätzlich keine Oscar-reifen Darstellungen zu erwarten.

Ja aber bei X-Men haben alle Schauspieler ihr bestes gegeben. Der letzte Film war einfach schlecht. Und schlechte Schauspielleistung in einem Film hängt zwar auch mit den Schauspielern zusammen, aber auch damit wie gut ein Regissuer ist Ein guter Regisseur dreht ja solange bis alles stimmt! Ich konnte noch nicht mal erkennen wir Jess geschauspielert hat, dazu war ihr Gesicht von den Specialeffects sie europäisch wirken zulassen, leider zu verzerrt!

Also ich seh den Grund auch nicht bei den Schauspielern. Jeder kann es besser wenn man sich andere Werke der Akteure ansieht: Jessica Alba -> Dark Angel, Michael Chiklis -> The Shield, Chris Evans -> Sunshine ect.
Tim Story ist einfach kein besonders guter Regisseur was Charaktermomente angeht. Humor und Action wurde trotzdem gut inszeniert fand ich.

Naja sind ja alle, soweit ich weiß sowieso für nen dritten verpflichtet, der kann auch noch in 3 Jahren sein. Nur wenn sie noch einen machen wollen, brauchen die auf jedenfall nen guten Regisseur und Drehbuchautor nochmal Tim Story und maschier Eichinger in seiner Starnberger Villa und vergesse mich!

Ich hatte mal gelesen das die Filme in einer gewissen Zeit entstehen müssen,
ansonsten würden die Rechte zurück an Marvel gehen, und somit würden auch
die Verträge mit den Darstellern ihre Gültigkeit verlieren.

Jupp, die Rechte hat Eichinger seit den 80er Jahren. Aber deshalb war er auch gezwungen, bereits 1993 einen ersten (den originalen wink

) Fantastic-Four-Film, einen billigen B-Movie, zu produzieren, um seine Rechte nicht zu verlieren. Diese Geschichte war eigentlich eine ganz hinterhältige Tour von ihm. rolleyes

Fox hat doch gar nicht rechte daran die hat Bernd Eichinger! Und soweit ich weiß haben in der Regel auch die Schauspieler nicht mit dem Verleih sondern mit der Produktionsfirma den Vertrag.

Soweit ich weiß hat Herr Eichinger diese nur für den deutschen Sprachraum, der Rest
liegt bei Fox. Das war damals eh ein sehr merkwürdiger Deal, da Marvel damals nicht
gut da stand und die Rechte quasi verschleudert hatte. Und Fox ist, wie Constantin,
sowohl Produktions- als auch Vertriebsfirma bei der Reihe.

Habe gerade nochmal rumgesucht: Teil 3 müsste wohl bis 2012 erscheinen, ansonsten gehen die (Fox-)Rechte zurück an Marvel!

Dann ist sie aber schon über dreißig ! eek

Ich glaube, es wird sich bis zum Schluss dauern. Habe so ein Gefühl,der zweite Teil hat ja auch nicht die Kassen klingeln lassen. Ich denke, es wird so eine ähnliche Geschichte wie Sin City und der bevorstehende Teil 2. Vielleicht geht sie dann mit Ihrem Cameron oder mit Cameronlina ins Kino. biggrin

The franchise is looking to be "less bubble gum" this time round following the Iron Man template, which was a complete success in reviews and box office take but a bit darker when it came to its superhero. Iron Man was in no way as dark as The Dark Knight but was funny, action-y as well as a bit on the serious side.

Ja das hab ich gelesen, und trotzdem meine Frage: Wer will sich sowas anschauen? Ich mein ja wenn die ersten 2 Filme schon 10 Jahre her wären dann okay. Aber so? Blödsinn sag ich!
