Der Schauspieler Michael Chiklis hat in einem Interview mit "On Live with Regis and Kelly" bekannt gegeben, dass die Dreharbeiten für den zweiten Teil von den Fantastischen Vier im Sommer in Vancouver beginnen werden. Als Starttermin peilt man den 4. Juli 2007 an. Der zweite Teil des Blockbuster soll 130 Millionen Dollar kosten. Tim Story wird wieder Regie führen. In den Hauptrollen werden u.a Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans und Michael Chiklis zusehen sein. Das Drehbuch wird, wie im ersten Teil, von Mark Frost geschrieben.

Silver Surfer in Fantastic Four 2?

Variety reports that Marvel's Silver Surfer is on course to become a linchpin in Fantastic Four 2, which 20th Century Fox is readying for a July 4, 2007 release.
The character has evolved into one of Marvel's more sophisticated comic book heroes. A Surfer feature has been in Fox's arsenal for a decade, but the studio waited because the project is so ambitiously f/x-heavy and Fox has been busy with other Marvel franchises.
The wait ends with "FF2." The storyline is being finalized, with the studio about to choose between a script by X2: X-Men United scribe Mark Frost and another by Don Payne, who scripted Fox/New Regency's My Super-Ex Girlfriend.
According to the trade, Payne's script is the frontrunner and includes the Surfer. |

das habe ich auch nicht gemint ich weis natürlich das die aus VIER superhelden bestehen ich meinte ob er überhaupt auch in den comics oder in der zeichentrick serie vorkamm  |

doch doch !!! kam schon Ironiesierend an und habe auch gelacht als ich das gelesen habe. Das war auch voon mir nicht negative gemeint, wollte halt die wirklich frage stellen die ist nämlich: kommt der silversurfer in den comics oder zeichentrickfimen vor ? |

In a classic case of history repeating itself, 20th Century Fox has moved their 2007 superhero sequel Fantastic Four 2 off its plum 4th of July release date to June 15, two weeks earlier, presumably to get away from DreamWorks' Transformers, which also laid claim to the holiday release date.
This follows the similar move of the original Fantastic Four away from the same weekend last year when it would have gone up against Tom Cruise and Steven Spielberg's War of the Worlds, a move which proved to be a smart one for the studio.

Alba Reveals Fantastic Four 2 Details

USA Today caught up with 2006 MTV Movie Awards host Jessica Alba, who talked about 20th Century Fox's Fantastic Four 2.
"We start 'Fantastic Four 2' in August," said Alba. "The four of us learn that there are other people out there with superpowers, and the Silver Surfer appears as a villain/hero. And another villain comes in as well. My character, Susan Storm, has another love triangle and may use a power people haven't seen before. She's the most powerful of the four."
The studio is planning a June 15, 2007 release for the sequel. |

Wird der zweite Teil nun offiziell "Fantastic Four & Silver Surfer" heißen?
Übrigens wie die meisten schon wissen wird Julian McMahon nicht mehr Dr. Doom im FF 2 spielen. Doom soll aber trotzdem eine Rolle im zweiten Teil spielen und wie es heißt "in einer anderen Form als bisher erscheinen". Wat dat heißt ist aber noch ein Rätsel  |

Nunja, Ioan Gruffudd meinte in einem Interview vor kurzem das Julian eben doch wieder mit dabei sein wird, mal schauen was daraus wird. Und das Doom anders aussehen wird als in Teil 1 ist klar, er hat ja diese kleine Supernova von Johnny abbekommen.
Und ob dies wirklich der Titel ist wurde von FOX noch nicht bestätigt, könnte aber gut sein, da der Silver Surfer ja mit dabei sein wird.

Wer wird den Silver Surfer im zweiten Teil von den "Fantastischen Vier" spielen? Das ist die große Frage, die bisher noch nicht beantwortet wurde. Seit bekannt geworden ist, dass der Held von 'Marvel' im zweiten Teil auftreten wird, fragen sich viele Fans, wer den Helden verkörpern wird. Es scheint aber so, als ob kein Schauspieler für die Rolle vorgesehen ist. Die Kollegen von 'Moviehole' hatten die Gelegenheit mit dem Regisseur Tim Story über den Helden zu sprechen und dort gab er zwar nicht bekannt, wer ihn spielen wird oder ob er komplett CGI animiert sein wird, doch die Effekte für den Silver Surfer sollen neue Maßstäbe in diesem Bereich setzen.
Tim Story: "Der Silver Surfer wird in einem neuen CGI-Design zusehen sein, der speziell für diesen Film entwickelt wird. Es wird der Wahnsinn sein."
Die Dreharbeiten zur Comicverfilmung werden am 15. August beginnen und bis zum 31. Dezember andauern. Gedreht wird in den Vancouver Film Studios. In den Hauptrollen werden u.a wieder Jessica Alba, Ioan Gruffudd, Chris Evans und Michael Chiklis zusehen sein. In Szene gesetzt wird die Comicverfilmung wieder von Tim Story.

Also FF2 ist nach Spiderman 3 DER Marvelfilm auf den ich sehnsüchtigst warte 
Das mit Silver Surfer als CGI ist ja wohl mal klar, Johnny Storm ist im "Feuerzustand" ja auch CGI. Aber trotzdem muss es jemanden geben, der fürs Motion Capturing herhalten muss, dann natürlich noch für die Mimik, und schließlich auch noch für die Stimme. Also wird es bestimmt einen "Schauspieler" für den Silver Surfer geben.
Aber erstmal heißt es warten |

Al'ight. I'm in town for a couple of meetings (Translation: I'm over budget and something's gotta go) so they set it up for me to go visit the Fantasticar while it's being assembled (sp?). This car is the coolest thing I've ever seen. Not saying this because it's in my movie. (But there is obviously a bias) But it's cool. I mean this is like "the car from The Spy Who Loved Me" type of cool. You guys remember the one, white and went under water. (I might be saying the wrong movie, so forgive me, too excited) Anyway, the company, I'm dealing with built all the cool vehicles in a lot of big movies. Including a few batmobiles, and planet rovers from few space movies, blah blah blah, and the excitment from them is ridiculous. I mean, these guys build jets for the airforce.
I went to their top secret local way out in the middle of nowhere and when I walked in, I just couldn't believe my eyes. It's better than I imagined. Can't wait to shoot this thing. It doesn't get to us until late September but I can't wait to put our Fan4 inside. We (my production designer Kirk P.) also saw the models for the individual pods - once the Fantasticar spilts up. They are on schedule and preparing all the gadgets and circuit boards, blah blah blah.
I needed this visit. A little shot in the arm.

Oje, die Budgetplanungen sind schon höher als das veranschlagte Budget, und das obwohl noch kein Meter Film gedreht wurde. Bleibt nur zu hoffen das die Treffen erfolgreich waren, denn der Film muss besser werden als Teil 1, sonst sieht es nicht gut für einen 3. Teil aus.

Hollywood North Report has learned the start dates for both Fantastic Four and The Silver Surfer and Alien vs. Predator: Survival of the Fittest:
HNR/Sneak Peek has learned that the Vancouver start date of the upcoming Fox feature sequel Fantastic Four and the Silver Surfer, based on the Marvel Comics superhero team, is now scheduled for August 28.
The 5-month shoot will run til January 31, 2007.
In other 'genre' film news, the Fox sequel, Alien Vs. Predator 2: Survival of the Fittest starts September 25 for 3 months til December 1.

Im zweiten Teil wird der rätselhafte, intergalaktisch Vorbote Silver Surfer auf die Erde kommen, um die Erde zu zerstören. Als der Silver Surfer damit beginnt auf der Welt durch seine Kräfte Chaos zu verursachen, müssen Reed, Sue, Johnny und Ben das Geheimnis des Silver Surfer enträtseln und noch gegen ihren Erzfeind Dr. Doom antreten, der wieder zurück ist und nach Rache sinnt.
Die Dreharbeiten zum 2. Teil werden am 28. August 2006 in Vancouver (Kanada) beginnen. Der Kinostart in den USA ist für den 15. Juni 2007 geplant, ein deutscher Starttermin ist noch nicht bekannt.
