3D-Realms-Guru prophezeit Dukes Comeback
Trotz dieser turbulenten Zeiten verspricht DNF-CEO Scott Miller für die nahe
Zukunft, dass der Duke aus der Versenkung auferstehen wird: „In den nächsten
Jahren werden wir die Wiederauferstehung vom Duke erleben“, erklärt Miller im
Interview mit der Print-Ausgabe von Gamesauce. So befänden sich diverse Duke-
Spiele mit unterschiedlichem Entwicklungsstand in der Produktion: „Wir werden
den Duke definitiv in das Casual-Gaming-Umfeld bringen, außerdem befinden sich
andere große Duke-Spiele in der Produktion“, erklärt Miller dazu. Beinahe alle dieser
Projekte seien noch nicht angekündigt worden.

ich finds halt soo krass wie ich hier über den super alten thread stolper und erst vor ein paar monaten ist der neueste Trailer zu Duke Nukem veröffentlicht worden^^

Bevor der Ego-Shooter Duke Nukem Forever in die Hände des Entwicklers Gearbox
Software geriet, zeichnete das Team von 3D Realms für das Actionspiel verantwort-
lich. Das Studio musste bekanntlich im Mai 2009 die Pforten schließen und das Pro-
jekt auf Eis legen. David Riegel, ein ehemaliger Mitarbeiter, sprach vor kurzem im
Rahmen eines Podcasts über diese Zeit.
